Stock per location
“Inventory: Main St” columns hold each variant's available quantity at that location.
Sale-safe
If stock changes between preview and apply — say, after an order — Bulkvane leaves it alone and tells you.

Metafield columns
Name a column “Metafield: namespace.key [type]”, for example “Metafield: custom.material [single_line_text_field]”. Shopify's header style “Material (product.metafields.custom.material)” works too; the type then comes from your metafield definition.
- “a; b; c” becomes a JSON list for list types.
- Empty cells are left alone, except in Replace mode, where they remove the metafield.
- Variant metafields aren't supported.
Inventory columns
Name a column “Inventory: <location name>” (case doesn't matter). Values are whole numbers of available stock. Empty cells never change stock, in any import mode.
Variants that don't track inventory, or aren't stocked at that location, are skipped with a warning.
Does changing stock in the file overwrite sales made since my export?
No. When you apply an import, Bulkvane checks the current stock first. If it changed since the preview, that variant is skipped and reported, so you never overwrite a sale.
Can I undo a metafield or stock change?
Yes. Both are part of the import's snapshot and are restored by Undo for 30 days.
