Import and export customers

Columns

One row per customer: ID, Email, First Name, Last Name, Phone, Note, Tags, Tax Exempt, and the default address — Company, Address 1, Address 2, City, Province Code, Country Code, Zip and Address Phone. Shopify's customer CSV headers work too.

Read-only, exported for reference: Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, Orders Count, Amount Spent, Created At and Updated At.

Matching and checks

• Customers are matched by ID, then Email. Rows that match nothing create a customer (in Create and update or Create only mode).
• Phone numbers need a country code, for example +351 912 345 678.
• Country names such as “Portugal” become codes (PT) automatically.
• Customers with orders can't be deleted.

Filter customers by tag and by created date.
